The client required an intuitive employee management system to store staff profiles, track daily availability, manage schedules, and oversee time off. The platform needed to support shift planning, leave requests, absence tracking with reasons, training records, and streamline payroll. It also had to empower managers with oversight tools while enabling employees to self-manage time-off requests.
Our software development team successfully designed and implemented a comprehensive employee management system tailored to the client’s specific needs. Using Agile methodologies and strong expertise in both frontend and backend development, the system was built to simplify staff data management and streamline HR operations. It allows managers to add new employees, update contact details, assign roles and departments, and track skills and qualifications. The system also organizes personal files, documents, and performance records, while enabling training plan management. This solution provides an efficient way to handle employee information, monitor availability, and support staff development.
Our software specialists also integrated a time-off scheduler into the employee management system. It was developed to allow users to submit time-off requests—such as a day off—which can then be reviewed and approved or declined by a supervisor. Upon approval, the system automatically sends a confirmation email to the requesting employee.
The developed employee management system also displays each employee's current status along with a detailed time-off history log. Supervisors have access to view the real-time status of all staff across departments, enabling better oversight and resource planning.
The built-in payroll module in the employee management system leverages data such as overtime and bonuses to accurately calculate employee salaries. The integrated absence management feature enables managers to mark employees as absent upon receiving notifications. The system can automatically handle calculations for contractual and statutory sick pay, record essential details (such as type and duration of absence), and generate comprehensive reports including weekly, monthly, and yearly absence summaries along with attendance charts.
